After graduating from the University of Tennessee at Memphis in 1961, Dr. Adams completed his surgery training at the University Of Oklahoma Medical Center. He completed his plastic surgery residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 1969. He served in the U.S. Army as the Assistant Chief of Plastic Surgery , U.S. Forces Europe before returning to Memphis in 1973. Dr. Adams, a Board Certified plastic surgeon, is a founding member of the Clinic of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is a member of the American Society Of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the Tennessee Medical Association, and the Tennessee Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons.
